Arginine alpha-ketoglutarate and ornithine alpha-ketoglutarate are molecules obtained from the union of the amino acids arginine and ornithine to alpha-ketoglutarate, an intermediate of the Krebs cycle, i.e. that complex of enzymatic reactions which in the human organism presides over the cellular energy production in the early stages of aerobic metabolism. Ornithine, together with citrulline, is a metabolic intermediate of amino acids and is essentially found in the urea cycle, that process by which the human organism removes nitrogenous waste.

Beta-alanine is an amino acid characterized by the presence of an amino group in the beta position, this allows it not to intervene in the processes of protein synthesis, but to be transported to the liver where it participates, with histidine, in the formation of carnosine, molecule present at muscle level.

Creatine ethyl ester is a form of creatine obtained by esterification with ethyl groups, which facilitates its penetration through intestinal, muscular and nervous cell membranes, and therefore absorption.
