Being a vegan athlete? It's possible!

Do you want an athletic physique even while following a vegan diet? You have to be a little careful but it's possible! Many are afraid that without animal foods their intense workouts could go to waste. There are many famous and successful athletes who are living proof that these statements are wrong. It is in fact possible to be vegan and have a large muscle mass even if you transform from carnivores to herbivores in just one day. The key is the quality of the integration.

The basic ingredients: rice and peas

Unlike products with animal-based ingredients, plant-based foods are not complete protein sources, meaning they don't contain all the essential amino acids our bodies require. However, it is possible (with a combination of different sources of vegetable proteins) to obtain a protein complex of complete value. In Vegan Protein we achieved this by combining two protein sources that complement each other perfectly – rice protein contains little lysine but is rich in sulfur-containing amino acids (such as cysteine and methionine) and pea protein contains fewer sulfur-containing amino acids while being rich of lysine. We have enhanced this excellent base blend with the addition of other amino acids.

+ 3 types of superfoods

  • Quinoa flour → The ancient Incas considered this popular food even today in health-conscious cuisine as the mother of all cereals, even though it is actually a "pseudo-cereal". It has a lower carbohydrate content than regular cereals, but its protein content is higher (16%). Furthermore, it is an excellent mineral source as it contains potassium, calcium, magnesium and iron.
  • Acai berry powder → Acai berries, originating from the Amazon rainforest, have an incredible ORAC value (International Standard for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity, which measures the ability to counteract radicals).
  • Low Goji Berries → Goji berries (also known as wolf berries) have been used in China as an aphrodisiac for hundreds of years. This tasty, bright red fruit that has a flavor reminiscent of a mix between cherry and blackberry contains 8 essential amino acids and lots of vitamin C.

We recommend using this product if:

  • you are vegetarian or vegan. Vegan proteins can effectively supplement your protein intake, particularly if you play sports → its protein content of plant origin contributes to the development and maintenance of muscle mass.
  • You are looking for a plant-based alternative to dairy-derived proteins.
  • You are sensitive to lactose
  • you are celiac
  • you want to change something in the kitchen → this product can be used as a thickener in soups or vegetarian recipes

INDICATIONS:
