ALA is an antioxidant molecule similar to vitamins and is produced by our body but can also be found in broccoli, spinach, yeast, potatoes, carrots, red beets and red meat. However, the human body is only able to synthesize small quantities and for this reason it is advisable to take a supplement. ALA is thought to be an ideal antioxidant as it dissolves well in both water and fat, an ideal dose for antioxidant effects is 200-300 mg.

Directions:

Take one capsule a day half an hour before a meal.
